12 Days of Christmas {Day 6}

Sugar scrubs are a wonderful thing. I always get sucked into purchasing them at the store because they make your skin feel so soft. Well, stop purchasing them! They're so easy to make and use items that you probably already have in your home.

For this scrub you'll need brown sugar, honey, cinnamon, olive oil, and ground coffee.

In a small bowl, mix together 1 cup packed brown sugar, 1 tablespoon coffee, and 1 teaspoon cinnamon.

Then to the mixture you will add 2 tablespoons olive oil and 1 tablespoon honey. I also added some cinnamon essential oil at this point to give it a stronger cinnamon scent. You could always just add more cinnamon if you don't have any oil (and don't want to go buy any).

Once that's all mixed together, you can add it into the container you plan to give it in (or keep it in). Try to find one that will have extra room in the top! It's pretty natural for this to start separating, so you'll want extra room to be able to stir it up before each use.

I found this contained at the dollar spot in Target. It was the perfect size and is also perfect for giving as a gift this Christmas season. This smells so delicious and my hands feel nice and soft as I type this post. Double win!

Until next time.
